Carrot Cake

The frosting is not optional.

Ingredients


    Batter

  • Flour - 1 3/4 cups
  • Baking Powder - 1 1/2tsp
  • Baking Soda - 1tsp
  • Cinnamon - 1/2tsp
  • Eggs - 4
  • Vegetable Oil - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup
  • Carrot (shredded) - 2 cups
  • Vanilla - 1tsp
  • Frosting

  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Butter - 1/2 cup
  • Cream Cheese - 1 cup
  • Sour Cream - 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla - 1tsp

Directions


    Batter

  1. Mix eggs and vegetable oil in a bowl.
  2. Slowly mix in the flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon.
  3. Mix the rest of the ingredients into the bowl.
  4. Place a piece of cut out parchment paper at the bottom of a pan.
  5. Butter or oil the pan, then pour in the batter.
  6. Preheat an oven at 175 °C
  7. Cook for 45min at 175 °C
  8. Take the cake out of the oven and wait for it to cool.
  9. Frosting

  10. Mix the ingredients in a bowl.
